If I Were To…

See a movie with friends this weekend…

I’d check out Resident Evil: Afterlife in 3D.

Okay I’m not going to pretend it’s going to be great, but for gamers and action movie fanatics alike, you really can’t go wrong.

Resident Evil: Afterlife opened Sept. 10/2010 and is playing in a theater near you (see it in 3D if possible).

See a movie with a date this weekend…

I’d check out Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky.

The movie looks incredibly romantic and supposedly starts off with a bang. A little too serious for a first or second date, but the perfect movie for a third.

Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky opened in Winnipeg on Sept. 10/2010 and is playing at the Globe Theater.

Rent/Buy a video game this weekend…

I’d check out Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions for the PS3, XBOX 360, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo DS.

Been finding every Spidey game since the groundbreaking Spider-Man 2 for PS2 and XBOX slightly dry and redundant? Well good news, in Shattered Dimensions you get to play as four different Spider-Man’s from the comics.  Add on multiple unlockable costumes (including the Scarlet Spider-Man costume (win!)) and you’ve got yourself a comic book fans dream.

Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions was released on Tuesday Sept. 7/2010 for all the game consoles mentioned above.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
